From Fairtrade Coffee to FSC Certified Paper!

Do we really know the impact on the environment of products we frequently use?

Today more than ever, we must think about the impact of those products. The use of paper is at the top of the list. Paper containing environmental recycled fibers is widely accepted but an insufficient amount of waste paper is being recycled to meet current needs. In fact, recycled materials meet only 35% of the market demand for paper. This means that 65% of the pulp needed by paper manufacturers comes directly from the harvesting forest. How do we inhance the productivity of our forests?

Rest assured! There is now a positive conservation focused alternative. The Forest Steward Council (FSC) is an international certification system that guarantees that FSC certified paper comes from well managed forests or from a controlled source.
